This maintenance, or any other maintenance - it's hard to actually give an ETA. Big games like World of Warcraft / Guild Wars can say they have an ETA, and actually come through with it. But you have to realize: Those are big companies with tens of thousands++++ members.

As good as this game is, you probably think its one of those big huge companies, but its not!

If anything they give you an ETA to satisfy you, and it probably ends up un-satisfying you because you'll start saying things like "don't tell us an ETA if you can't go through with it."

I see this all the time, and I greatly understand it, but then on the other hand; you're all begging to know a date when the next patch comes out. K2 members tell you all the time they can't give a date at this time! And it doesn't matter what patches the other Swords' have, they're not this community, their over there, stop talking about over there and start talking about whats here, which isn't the maintenance.

That's with almost any game; the game play might be good, but the community might be dull, and vice versa...This game has it all. Downtime is the ONLY thing, I see no reason to quit this just because of maintenance...

If you want these patches so bad, then go play them! You'll find this community is a great one - I'd say better than most games I've ever played.

If you're going to quit a game this good, just because of maintenance and no patches everyday like other versions, that's pretty sad, not to mention this game is FREE.

I'm sure people want all the new 3.0 stuff, but I mean goodness, it'll be here!

This game actually has administrators that talk to you and try if not succeed to solve your problem. Do you know how many games have websites/forums where not 1 admin talks to you unless you send in a ticket?

If you think about all of the positive things and then the negative things, you'll find the only negative things about this game are: The Complainers, and the maintenance.

The only thing this game is failing in is the downtime, but other than that: I see no reason to complain over things like patches and the sort.

So remember this: Don't ask for an ETA, because for some reason, no matter what K2 does end up saying, you'll find something to argue and complain about.
